Listen to Cardi B’s ‘Don’t Chart’ from upcoming ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ soundtrack

Cardi B has released “Don’t Chart,” a new single featured on the upcoming soundtrack “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album,” with the track adding new music to the rollout for the highly anticipated video game.

Cardi hinted at her connection to the game before the song’s release, sharing an image of a gray “Baddie” sweatshirt resembling one worn by Lucia, one of the game’s central characters. Produced by Vinylz and Timbaland, “Don’t Chart” features the Bronx rapper delivering a confident, confrontational performance centered on her success and responses to critics. Its title plays on the irony of predicting a hit while claiming not to care about chart performance.

The 34-track ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ soundtrack includes music from a range of artists, including Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Yung Lean, Morgan Wallen and PinkPantheress. Another newly released track, “Suzuki” by Fuerza Regida, accompanied Cardi’s single as part of the project’s ongoing rollout.

“Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album” is scheduled for release Nov. 19, the same day “Grand Theft Auto VI” is set to launch. The soundtrack’s staggered releases are giving listeners an early look at the music planned to accompany the game’s fictional world of Vice City and Leonida.
